Dallas Karaoke called
Austin Avenue home for almost the entire span of their
karaoke career. Every Saturday night, Plano locals
crowded in early awaiting the signup period to begin and
then kicked back for an evening a fun singing their
cares away with friends old and new. Each year, they
celebrated a gala anniversary party-not to be missed,
where they donned their best and documented another year
of success. Austin Avenue still remains a hot spot for
Plano and has been serving the Plano area since August
of 1995. Good food, served in an exciting sports
atmosphere, has always been their number one goal. They
offer 28 televisions, including 5 big screens and a
giant 10ft screen, 12 billiard tables, 10 dartboards,
and plenty of video/arcade games to ensure a diversity
of enjoyment. You even have a choice of atmosphere with
2 dining areas, an upstairs bar, and the billiard hall.
For a true sports grill atmosphere, try the Smoking
Dining Area or the Upstairs Bar. This large room is
divided in half, giving you the choice of formally
sitting at a table or lounging around in the bar. The
dining area is outlined with 9 booths and banquet style
seating in the middle to accommodate large groups.
Sports fans can enjoy a bevy of games on 7 televisions,
including 2 Big Screens. The Upstairs Bar has plenty of
bar stool seating along the 24ft bar and the perimeter
of the room. There are also 7 round tables with bar
stool seating for those medium size groups to enjoy our
happy hour. For additional fun, there are 5 dartboards
lining the south wall of the bar and 4 additional
televisions, including 1 Big Screen. And they still
offer karaoke, now twice a week!

Moose & Vinny’s Arlington
was the hot seasonal spot for many college aged regulars
bringing a crowded smoky delight with the sport of
billiards, darts, and karaoke apposed to the books and
schedules weekly. In addition, most evening hosted
corporate happy hours and regulars seeking the same
distraction. Dallas Karaoke boomed their way into the
weekly line up on Wednesdays for several years, packing
the house! Moose & Vinny’s was well known for their
fabulous menu and stocked bar including late-night
specials. They had a large dining area in full view of
the large stage and dance floor. To the far left side
opened into a complete gaming area of billiard tables
and a dart wall for sporting patrons. Live music hit
the stage every weekend hosting the hottest of local
bands. Sadly, Moose & Vinny’s has closed. However, we
still have fond memories of our time there!
