the longtime establishment. The crowd is always
friendly there and singers are always sure to be
found there belting out songs that are not
normally heard at most of your shows. You can
find lots of country hits there! |

Took
me to W.W. Fairfield’s located at Beltline and
Plano Rd. in Richardson. It was a special treat
because Lee Van Steeter owner of Dallas Karaoke
hosted the annual Christmas Show which hosted
various regular singers that were featured
singing Christmas music, a very Holiday Spirited
affair. God Bless Lee who was sick but stood
strong to pull off the show..great work Lee.
Also ran into Susan Werth, President of
Karaokepitstop. Susan was kind enough to
accompany me to another Karaoke establishment
afterwards. |

Night before Christmas & I stopped in at the
Main Street Liquid Co. to visit with host, Ben
Martinez. This place is famous for the two wall
bars across from the main bar. The music is
always energetic during singers and at any given
time you can witness dancers on those bar tops,
male and female. Great crowd! Bartenders, Tim
and Karen, serve up the hottest beverages in
Richardson. Lots of loud Karaoke here. |

W.W.
Fairfield’s in Richardson with Dallas Karaoke
hosted by Lee Van Steeter offers great fun
listeners as well as talented singers. This
night Lee was even caught onstage with Tom and
Squire singing the Eagles, "Seven Bridges Road."
Harmonies filled the air and the dance floor
opened to all. A huge dance floor and awesome
billiard area, are just a few reasons to
frequent this establishment, but the karaoke
alone is worth the trip! |

Fairfield’s - As the week begins it becomes
easier to take the events to follow if you let
your cares go. Thankfully, the climate of W. W.
Fairfield’s is perfect for the whole process.
With a limited number of singers it is a great
place to get in quite a few songs before the
night is through. KJ Lee Van Steeter brings an
older crowd (late thirties and older) during the
earlier part of the show, mostly C&W and older
rock, but as the evening progresses, the crowd
and the music both get younger, and it travels
more to modern rock as well. It is easy to see
why Dallas Karaoke has been playing at
Fairfield’s for years, as this is a fun show
waiting to be a part of your Monday night
routine. Start the week off with a smile! |

Moose & Vinny’s on Skillman with Lee Van Steeter

playing darts for the Moose & Vinny’s league on
Wednesday evenings. It has given me a front row

who have never been to a DK show, this venue is
a great change to explore. Lee combines an equal
mix of karaoke & DJ spinning throughout the
evening. It is high energy all evening.
Selections are easily found through his laptop
computer. DK was one of the 1st
companies to have laptop libraries in the DFW

Click's 635/ Kingsley- Dallas Karaoke. I joined
Lee VanSteeter, owner of Dallas Karaoke for his
first show at Click' Billiards. When I got there
Lee had a large crowd of new followers and old
regulars out to support him and sing. The night
was great with Click's cool drink specials like
$3.00 for a 34oz beer, that's 1/2 of a pitcher
and $2.25 for most Malt beverages on Tuesday's.
Lee has become one of the most high tech KJ's
around Dallas, with a new computer-driven
system, the sound quality of the Dallas
Karaoke's shows, keeps getting better! I was
very impressed and had a great time on Tuesday!

Click’s is the latest addition show to Lee

is well lit. The room is divided with a full
area of billiards on side of the bar and the
dart and seating area on the other. Lee has a
nice corner stage for singers to perform.
Click’s is a very nice & clean gaming facility.
The bartender, Shannondoah (also a karaoke
singer) is extremely helpful and service was
swift. They have great drink specials. Lee’s
show is high volume and full of fun for all. It
was great to see familiar faces and be welcomed.
I had a great time playing video games with

I joined Susan T

Lee VanSteeter. Lee has been in business in the
DFW area around 10 years or so. Recently I
discovered his show listings dropping down, but
not picking up. I had an opportunity to visit
with him about this. Since the birth of his son
in January, Lee has been trying to decide what
direction he should take his future. Lee now is
working for Excel full-time and karaoke has
become a favorite part-time. He still loves
karaoke & the people, but he feels keeping his
schedule down to two shows will allow him family
time and not jeopardize his new day job. We
wish him luck in both areas. Join Lee at
Click’s every Tuesday and Austin Avenue every
Saturday! |

This past Tuesday
night I had a chance to swing by Lee
VanSteeter's Dallas Karaoke show at Click's
Billiards over on Kinsley Rd. and 635. I showed
up late, say around 12 midnight and was
immediately welcomed by several familiar faces.
It is obvious from the start that Lee has
developed a good following of loyal singers at
this show and the festivities for the evening
were in full swing. Lee's KJ style is a modern
progressive approach to mixing today’s latest
hit songs in between each of the singers as they
are called up to stage. The result is an
upbeat, fast moving show that singers and
non-singers can enjoy. Click's offers a unique
menu for those of us that like to nibble of
munchies while we watch the show but you have to
order from the kitchen before 11pm. There is
even a drink special designed perfectly for beer
drinkers at this Tuesday night show. The show
runs from 9:30pm to 1:30pm so arrive early if
you like to sing often. |

A large party for
singer Dann Smith invaded Click’s for karaoke;
only Lee was not there and there was no karaoke
entertainment that evening. Yes, sadly Lee was
ill and not able to attend. This did not stop
the party festivities. Over 30 or more guests
came and went, wishing the birthday boy well and
even getting in a swat or two! A special
appearance of local headlining band Frolic
brought the crowd into cheers as they came out
to celebrate with Dann. Click’s management and
staff went out of their way to try to keep all
the guests happy. Truly the only thing missing
was karaoke. A representative of Dallas Karaoke
sternly reminded everyone that Lee has the best
show in Dallas and will return Thursday and as
regularly scheduled the following week. Too bad
Dann only has one birthday date.

First off,
Congratulations to Lee & Nikki Coleman as they
await the birth of a new baby. I joined a
packed show at Click’s on Kingsley Tuesday
evening and was surprised to see some of the old
Dallas Karaoke family out for a night of karaoke
too. As with any karaoke family, people come &
go throughout the years as jobs and situations
change. It was very good to see everyone. Lee
runs an equally mixed show of DJ songs, new
streaming slide shows of singers & family, dance
videos, cartoons, and also karaoke. Yes, his
rotation runs a bit slower getting all of this
in, but his show does reach everyone in the
establishment. Not to mention that Lee is such
a off the collar comedian to boot! Click’s
kicks in a great reason to be there with the
latest in video gaming, billiards, and darts.
They also have very reasonable prices and
wonderful specials. It is a very affordable
night on Tuesdays and I recommend you hit this
show early to get in the rotation.
